✨Embracing an Unexpected Path With Courage and Gratitude ✨

I was inspired by others gratitude this holiday season and it led me to think about how grateful I am for the ability to start something new.

A new start often comes with a picture in your mind of how it should look.

You think – it should look like this…
It should feel like that…

But, this journey looks different than anything I ever imagined.

I’ve been on LinkedIn for years just “browsing” but recently I felt implored to actively participate since starting Scope Meets Gavel. It has been interesting to say the least, as I’m an introvert by nature and a keen observer by training. So, browsing felt safe.

It has required personal growth to reach out and be vulnerable to increase visibility for myself and Scope Meets Gavel.

This process has taught me that the most meaningful chapters rarely follow your old script.

It feels different — bigger, personal, important.

Instead of stepping into another traditional “nursing role,” I stepped into a mission:
Connecting healthcare and law in a way that truly supports law firms, attorneys, and their amazing staff.

Along the way, gratitude has shown up in places I didn’t expect:

Gratitude for the unfamiliar parts of exchanging a 20 yr career for entrepreneurship.

Gratitude for every learning curve disguised as a challenge.

Gratitude for the realization that sometimes the path you never planned becomes the one you need.

Gratitude for the staff at Trantolo & Trantolo, LLC for seeing potential in me. Trust was placed in me, to help people who are also dealing with their own unexpected journey.

It’s this trust that helped me visualize what Scope Meets Gavel could be.

And, gave me the courage to try.

This journey has stretched me, inspired me, and reminded me daily why this work matters.

Scope Meets Gavel may not look like the “job” I once pictured — Scrubs, stethoscope, surgical scissors, tape, at least 5 pens and worn in tennis shoes. I definitely didn’t see a polished black suit, & for that one I’ll thank AI.

But, this feels like purpose again after the pandemic.

It feels like impact.

It feels like a quiet, steady “yes” to the next chapter.

Thankful for where I’ve been.

Thankful for the growth.

And deeply thankful for the opportunity to build something that connects two worlds and helps others in the process.

Here’s to new chapters, unexpected paths, and the gratitude that guides them. ✨

Happy Holidays everyone! 🎄
